Hi Helen & Tim - great weekend and you must have put in a special order for the weather! The feedback from the ATC squadron is that they all had a brilliant time and the opportunity to fly was the cherry on the cake. Thanks to you both for all your hard work. Hope the weather is just as good for your wedding - see you at the pub! Cheers! big grin

big grin What a fantastic fly-in weekend, was my first with my partner who's first love is flying! Managed a little display of my own whilst crossing the strip . . . . embarrassment
Fab, loved it, was very well organised and all were made very welcome. We camped over the night and enjoyed a few bevvies whilst listening to Simon. Cant wait til the next one. Was amazed by Tims flying, just hope Nick don't try it in his flexi-wing thingie with me in the back!! lol
Thanks for a fab weekend. Was a great pleasure to be part of it. Hope to be back again real soon.

Helen / Tim.
What a great w/e, we travel the length of the country to all sorts of events, large and small, but none as much fun as the SG fly in. A superb production and organisation. We are proud to have supported you. Next year BIGGER and BIGGER.

Regards John and Trev.

Welcome to the 2008 flying season. Our airplanes are all out turning up hours. Do you realize how far a UK Pound goes in the US? Come on over. The Atlantic isn't nearly as large as you may think. Gary and Alice N52886

Would you believe your rain has been so intense that it made the national news here in Auburn, USA? We woke up to it this morning.

We hope you can reschedule when things dry out a bit.

Andrew and I were also sorry to hear the news, but fully understand and support your decision. As peopple who marshal at many places its very reassuring to come across people who uderstand how to put safety first over pressures of popularity and money. We look forward to the reschedule.

Hello all. Hasn't time flown (if you forgive the pun) since the your stakeout - The Police helicopter departure/mobile disco was cool!-Reminded me of Close Encounters.

Now that the weather has gone all cold, wet and miserable - Looking forward to those high pressure summer evenings dropping into your airfield for a cuppa and a chat.
Have a good Christmas everyone!

Safe flying and happy landings

Anthony

How about a group fly-out of the Stoke Golding fleet during the Christmas hols. We could all meet up for lunch at a pub somewhere near a friendly airfield. And yes, I did mean all of them, but........

Hello there Mommy and Timmo!

Lovely airfield, great to fly into and out of - especially when it's to the seaside in a Yak 18T!!!

Noticed a drop in the number of chocolate doughnuts recently? Is there a shortage at the 'cuisine de france' stall?!

See ya later

xxxxxxxx cool
